1. Executive Product Overview

AcademiaNova is a full-featured, modern web portal engineered specifically for universities, academic colleges, preparatory academies, students, and professors. It provides a synchronized three-tier institutional management architecture:

Student Portal (student.php): Course enrollments, interactive transcripts, GPA calculators, timetable calendars, and faculty advising appointment bookings.
Faculty / Professor Portal (professor.php): Course management, enrolled rosters, interactive in-table grading console, and office hours queue.
Executive Chancellor Console (admin.php): Official student registrar directory, faculty appointments, curriculum accreditation, and campus announcements.
Collegiate Landing Portal (index.php): Program catalog with real-time search, tuition & scholarship calculator, and 1-click buyer demo access.

2. Installation & Rapid Setup

Zero-Configuration SQLite Engine Included: AcademiaNova works immediately out of the box on standard PHP 8.x hosting with zero database setup required!

Option A: Instant Deployment (Zero-Config SQLite)

Extract the zip files to your web root or subfolder (e.g. /public_html/university/).
Ensure the database/ directory is writable (permissions 0755 or 0777).
Navigate to your domain in any browser: https://yourdomain.com/university/.
The system will auto-provision the database and seed realistic demo data automatically!

Option B: Production MySQL Setup

Create a MySQL database in cPanel (e.g., academiapro_db).
Import the provided database/schema.sql file via phpMyAdmin.
Open config.php and set define('DB_ENGINE', 'mysql');.
Update your MySQL database credentials (host, dbname, user, password) in lines 24-28.
